At Home-ness

At Home-ness is an object that I made together with Henrik Jan Haarink for Art Rotterdam 2009. The object was placed in front of the Cruise Terminal where the 10th edition of Art Rotterdam took place. It functioned as a bus stop for the shuttle service to and from the exhibition Trendbeheer presenteert @ Art Rotterdam.

At Home-ness is part of the project At Home Anywhere, a journey to 30 countries of the European Union visiting its inhabitants. Looking for the definition of 'Home' at the centre of gravity, the exact heart of each country.
